Session information

Amanda prefers to photograph in natural settings; at home, in backyards or parks with sessions typically lasting between 2-3 hours.

After the session Amanda works with you to select the best images, then prints them herself in order to achieve beautiful large-scale, fine-art prints. Modern storytelling in book format is another popular option. The end result, whether prints or books, will be family heirlooms, photographs to be treasured for generations to come.

Amanda specializes in portraits of children but can also take family, pregnancy or birthing portraits. As well as photographing individual families, Amanda has done work for several Brooklyn schools. l i t t l e b i r d is Brooklyn-based but can travel.

Plan to book ahead, especially towards the holiday season. Museum quality prints, soft or hardcover books, digital files and gift certificates are all available. Allow 3-7 weeks for your order depending on season and size/nature of package.

1. Hummingbird (2 shots)
   This package includes:
   • Photographic shoot in black & white or color
   • DVD of images: Ownership of 100 + high res images and thumbnails
   • Two different 13x19" archival pigment prints, plus one of these as an 8x10"


2. Robin (3 shots)
   This package includes:
   • Photographic shoot in black & white or color
   • DVD of images: Ownership of 100 + high res images and thumbnails
   • Three different 13x19" archival pigment prints, plus one of these as an 8x10"


3. Big Bird (15-19 shots)
   This package includes:
   • Photographic shoot in black & white or color
   • DVD of images: Ownership of 100 + high res images and thumbnails
   • Four different 13x19" archival pigment prints, plus two of these as 8x10" duplicate prints (ie. two prints for each set of grandparents etc.)
   • One 5x7" mini photo book with 15 images (extra pages available)


4. The Egg (multiple shots)
   This package includes:
   • 3 photographic shoots at birth, crawling, to baby's first steps, in black & white or color
   • DVD of images: 200+ thumbnails of seession
   • One beautiful 30- 40 page 8x10" hardcover legacy book, edited with the narrative of your baby from birth, to crawling, to first steps

   The options are also available separately.
   • Basic Photo Shoot in color - comes with DVD of thumbnails and image selection consult.
   • Large Custom Print 13x19" archival pigment print on museum-quality fiber paper.
   • Larger Custom Print 17x22" archival pigment print on museum-quality fiber paper.
   • CD of High Res Images (purchase/ownership of the set of digital negatives is good for self-printing/lab printing, announcement cards, archives ).
   • Purchase of High Res Image (purchase of 1 digital negative for announcement card or personal use.)
   • Mini Photo Book A 5x7" book with photo on front, spine and flexible soft cover. Double sided printing on pages, personalized title page, 15 pages.
   • Legacy Photo Book A more durable, beautifully printed 8x10" album. Hardbound cover, single or double sided printing, 30-40 pages. Library binding and an 8-pt. black linen hardcover with a laminated 4-color dust jacket. Text can be added as intro or conclusion. Book can be titled.
   • Legacy Photo Book Large The same book as above only larger and even more beautiful, 11x13" album.
